of creating Plant and Instrumentation (P&I) diagrams – a complex bespoke product for its customers.

The Result
By using Lean methodology to make improvements in a controlled manner, the following benefits were achieved:

  • All P&I Diagrams are now produced in a standard way and are technically correct
  • P&I Diagrams are now produced in 1.5 hours instead of 1-1.5 days (representing a dramatic improvement in production lead time)
  • Drawing errors reduced by 90%.
